Who handles your application
AssistVault is operated by Dr Dishant Pandya. For privacy questions or a request to delete your application, email support@teachvault.app from the address you used to apply. Include your application reference if you have it.
What the form collects
We collect your name, email address, Mac details, intended use of AssistVault, and your agreement to this notice. We also record submission and consent times and a random application reference. We use these details to review closed-beta applications and contact selected applicants about access or follow-up beta testing.
Submitting a form does not create an account, take a payment or activate a license. Repeat submissions with the same email return the original reference without replacing the original details or extending their retention period.
Where it is stored
This website and its application service are hosted by Hostinger. Application records are kept in a private directory outside the public website. They are available to the owner through authenticated hosting access, rather than a public administration or download page.
The service uses a keyed hash of your connection's IP address and request times for abuse prevention. It does not store raw IP addresses in the application database. The rate window is one hour; expired rate entries are removed on the next submission or scheduled daily cleanup. A daily aggregate request count is also kept. Hostinger may separately process access and security logs according to its hosting policies.
Retention and deletion
Applications become eligible for deletion 90 days after submission. They are removed during a subsequent submission or daily scheduled cleanup, which can take until the next daily run. Private owner exports are subject to the same retention policy. If you ask for earlier deletion, we may verify that the request comes from your application email before removing the record.
Correspondence you send separately by email is handled in the support mailbox and is separate from the form's application database. Avoid sending secrets or sensitive documents by email.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not add analytics, advertising cookies or marketing trackers. The form does not save your application in browser local storage or session storage. Hosting security and access logs are separate from application storage.
When you use the Mac app
The Mac app has different data flows from this website. AI requests use your own OpenRouter key and the models and provider routing you select. Information included in those requests goes to OpenRouter and the selected model providers. Tools and integrations you enable may also send information to the services they access. Review those providers' privacy terms and the app's permissions before giving an assistant confidential work.
Keeping an app on your Mac does not mean that every task stays on the device. Applying for this beta does not authorize access to your Mac, documents or API keys.
